Sigríður Guðmundsdóttir hired as Internal Auditor of Arion Bank

Sigríður Guðmundsdóttir has been hired by the Board of Directors of Arion Bank as the Bank’s Internal Auditor and will start work early in the new year.

Sigríður has worked as Marel's internal auditor since 2010. Marel is an international company and is listed on the Iceland Stock Exchange. Prior to that she worked for Alcoa on risk-related matters and in internal audit at Landsbankinn. Sigríður is currently a member of the audit committee of Stefnir and Austurland Savings Bank.

Sigríður has a cand. oecon degree from the University of Iceland and a Master’s degree in accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a certified internal auditor (CIA).
